Walcott posts positive recovery video



Arsenal fans will have been pleased to see Theo Walcott’s latest post on Instagram, as the England international showed off his progress as he recovers from injury.

Walcott has not played since he was stretchered off in Arsenal’s FA Cup victory over Tottenham in January, having suffered a cruciate ligament injury.

But after also missing this summer’s World Cup, the forward looks ready and raring to go, having posted a video of himself doing sprints at Arsenal’s training ground.

He wrote: ‘Getting #Stronger & #Quicker everyday!!!! #SpeedMatters.’

William Hill make David Moyes the 5/1 joint favourite with Neil Lennon to take over with Neil Warnock at 7/1 and both Chris Hughton and Malky Mackay third favourites at 10/1.

Palace have also been trimmed for relegation from 3/1 to 2/1 – making them joint second favourites for the drop with QPR and behind only Burnley.

路邊社消息指出水晶宮高層拒絕提升球員周薪上限到40k左右

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba's return to Stamford Bridge has come at a cost to Oscar, who has had to give up his No. 11 squad number on the eve of the 2014/15 season.

The Blues confirmed on their website that Drogba has reclaimed the jersey that he wore during his first stint in London.

Drogba thanked the Brazilian, saying: "I am very pleased to be able to return to the number 11 shirt and I am very grateful to Oscar for allowing me to make this change."

While Oscar was quoted as saying he was welcome to the shirt: "Didier is a Chelsea legend and a senior player. I am happy for him to take the 11 and for me to take the 8. Lamps is another legend at this club and I hope I will be as successful in the shirt as he was."

The Blues also offered to refund anyone who'd already had the players' names and squad numbers done for the season and were affected by this late switch.
