DA SILVA --> EVERTON

That was the message from Chairman Bill Kenwright at Monday night's 127th AGM.
He revealed the club had invested £700,000 a year ago to acquire the player's "federative and economic rights" in an arrangement with Uruguayan club National Montevideo.
However, as da Silva did not possess an EU passport the Blues had been unable to secure his playing registration. Instead, he went on loan to Spanish La Liga outfit Malaga with a view to a summer switch to Goodison.
That move never took place but, as the Everton Chairman explained, the passport issues that were preventing da Silva's arrival at Everton now appear to have been solved.
He said: "Anderson da Silva is a Brazilian who came over here to spend some time with David Moyes and he impressed him.
"We bought his federative and economic rights but couldn't secure his player registration because he didn't have a British passport.
"He was supposed to have a passport by the January window, and then by May. By June we were getting fed up, not by the player but by the people around him promising the passport would be ready.
"We believe he eventually got a passport as he has been able to play in Spain this season. We are talking to his agent at the moment and there is a possibility he could be joining us in the next few weeks." 又係中場中？ 原帖由 Dioray 於 2006-12-1202:01 PM 發表
