The squad for the first official match to be played by the Montenegro national team has been announced with coach Zoran Filipović naming 14 foreign-based players among the 22 to face Hungary in Podgorica on 24 March.
Delibašić left out
The biggest surprise sprung by Filipović was the omission of former FK Partizan, RCD Mallorca and SL Benfica striker Andrija Delibašić, who is on loan at Portuguese side SC Beira-Mar. Instead the coach has opted to call-up 17-year-old Partizan forward Stevan Jovetić for the friendly after impressing in 13 appearances for his club this season.
'Big adventure'
Looking ahead to the historic game, Filipović said: "The most important thing for me is that every player plays with heart and passion for Montenegro. We are going to have a big adventure, but it will not be easy. Most of these players have never played together and they might not know each other. This will be our first match and I want to see how they function as a team and what kind of people they are."

週 日 凌 晨 將 有 1場 國 際 友 誼 賽 上 演 ，由 「 歐 洲 新 丁 」 黑 山 主 場 迎 戰 匈 牙 利 。
黑 山 首 度 亮 相
在 今 年 1月 才 正 式 加 入 歐 洲 足 協 的 黑 山 ，今 仗 將 是 該 支 「 新 丁 」 球 隊 首 次 以 獨 立 身 份 亮 相 國 際 賽 事 。 雖 然 黑 山 球 員 在 以 往 的 「 塞 黑 」 陣 中 只 佔 極 少 數 ，但 亦 不 乏 星 級 球 員 。 前 鋒 胡 斯 歷 過 去 2季 在 萊 切 合 共 攻 入 27個 聯 賽 入 球 ，雖 然 今 季 轉 投 羅 馬 後 表 現 一 般 ，但 今 仗 對 手 匈 牙 利 後 防 線 並 非 意 甲 球 隊 那 般 強 悍 ，因 此 必 定 會 盡 力 表 現 以 鞏 固 其 在 黑 山 國 家 隊 陣 中 的 主 力 位 置 。
自 從 去 年 10月 的 歐 國 盃 賽 事 上 不 敵 馬 爾 他 之 後 ，前 領 隊 保 錫 克 被 迫 引 咎 辭 職 。 而 接 任 的 華 希 迪 在 帶 隊 打 了 3場 友 賽 取 得 2勝 1負 ，而 今 仗 是 匈 牙 利 下 週 中 對 摩 爾 多 瓦 的 歐 國 盃 賽 事 前 的 最 後 1場 友 賽 ，預 計 又 是 試 陣 為 主 。 陣 容 方 面 ，安 德 列 治 後 衛 祖 夏 斯 因 傷 缺 陣 ，華 希 迪 預 料 會 以 科 特 布 斯 後 衛 薛 斯 里 斯 取 而 代 之 。 而 由 歐 塞 爾 外 借 至 馬 瑟 韋 爾 的 中 場 K.華 杜 斯 亦 首 次 獲 得 徵 召 。 效 力 屈 福 特 的 派 斯 堅 和 西 布 朗 前 鋒 蘇 坦 加 拿 ，預 料 會 雙 雙 正 選 上 陣 攻 堅 。

Two second-half penalties gave Montenegro a memorable friendly win against Hungary on their debut as an independent nation in Podgorica.
Festive mood
The home crowd of around 10,000 were in festive mood despite the rainy conditions at the Buducnost Stadium. This was the full international bow for Montenegro, welcomed in January as UEFA's 53rd member following last year's split with Serbia - that union having ended on the football field with the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The home fans were given a rude awakening, however, when Hungary forward Tams Priskin struck in the very first minute from close range after latching on to a cross from the right.
Comeback
The alert Montenegro goalkeeper Vukašin Poleksić then denied Watford FC player Priskin and fellow England-based striker Pter Rajczi of Barnsley FC with a string of superb saves in the first half. Eventually the home side regained their composure and Mirko Vucinić levelled in the 64th minute after Milan Purović was hauled down in the area. The same player's jinking run produced the second spot-kick, driven in by Igor Burzanović with eight minutes left.
Presidential approval
As he basked in his team's victory, Montenegro coach Zoran Filipović said: "It is a fantastic feeling to get off to a winning start. We weren't at our best but it was the first time we played together as a team and this result will certainly boost our confidence." The nation's president Filip Vujanović was in attendance and hailed "a historic sporting victory for our small nation". Montenegro will enter UEFA competition at Under-17, U19 and U21 levels in the autumn, with their senior debut coming in 2010 World Cup qualifying. Hungary, meanwhile, have their first UEFA EURO 2008™ assignment since Pter Vrhidi's appointment as coach against Moldova on Wednesday.
