Sir Alex Ferguson is set to name an unchanged team for Saturday's trip to Portsmouth, although Patrice Evra's return could bolster the bench.

The United boss had no defenders in reserve on Wednesday night - the only four senior defenders in the squad for the Roma match all had to start. Evra's recovery is therefore welcome, especially with the second leg against the Italians only days away.

"Patrice Evra will join us in Portsmouth, he is available," confirmed Sir Alex, from United's base in Rome.

"However, Park Ji-sung won't be ready. We have sent him to a specialist to get a further assessment. We are looking at a couple of weeks for him."
