Angry Ancelotti Slams RefereeThe Milan coach blamed referee Farina for the undeserved defeat suffered by the Rossoneri at Palermo on Wednesday evening in the fifth matchday of Serie A.
Carlo Ancelotti was fuming at the end of the match against the Rosanero which his team lost 2-1, not for the performance of his side, but with the referee's direction which was far from perfect.
"Yes, this defeat angers me a lot," admitted the Milan coach. "First because it was not deserved, secondly because we were very much penalized from what they told me. A deserved defeat is accepted much more than this."
Milan was mostly unhappy due to Palermo's equalizer, where Amauri caught the ball with his hands.
"A player who jumps like this is very probable that he catches the ball with his hand," he said.
"It was a huge mistake by the referee, just like missing a goal in front of an empty net."
However, Ancelotti still found positive things from this defeat.
"We scored, created opportunities and hit the post twice. Maybe the only thing is that we could be sharper. We could have increased the advantage, but we couldn't do more," concluded a disappointed Ancelotti.
Colantuono: Amauri Scored With His Shoulder
The Palermo coach admitted that he is not the most objective person to judge the Brazilian striker's goal against Milan which many believe it was a handsball.
The Rosanero caused the biggest upset of the fifth matchday as they defeated Milan 2-1 at the Barbera stadium of Sicily on Wednesday evening.
However, Palermo's first goal was highly contested by Milan as Amauri seemed to control the ball with his hands before passing the ball to Diana in what also seemed an offside position. Still, Stefano Colantuono, the Coach of Palermo wanted to defend the goal and legitimate the win for the Rosanero.
"Amauri? For me it seemed that he controlled it with his shoulder," commented the former Atalanta mentor. "I don't want to say any heresies, but the video replay does not seem to clear things up.
"It's a dubious goal, but then I leave the judgement to others who can be more objective than me."
The Palermo coach, still thinks the win was a deserved one for the Rosanero.
"We played it till the end. It must be acknowledged the fact that despite Milan played well, we always fought, not just defended.
"It's not a coincidence that the decisive chance was created by Diana. He was a full-back coming up in the 93rd minute. This is not being defensive," he said.
Galliani: Refereeing Errors Hurt Us

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani remains unconcerned with the state of the rossoneri, despite seeing his side fall 2-1 at Palermo in Serie A last night.
The Champions League holders currently lie five points off the pace with six points to their name, failing to pick up the points last night despite enjoying a glut of chances and much of the possession.
"It's the second goal where we went down to weird goals," explained Galliani.
"But everything is still on the right path. The team's developing well, as we saw in that performance."
The VP also had another explanation for the recent Milanese difficulties.
"The sole disappointing factor is that the refereeing decisions aren't quite going our way," he mused.
"The officials keep making mistakes, and quite often they prove damaging to us."
Carlo Ancelotti complained at length about the refereeing in the Sicilian encounter, but Galliani opted to focus somewhat less on the issue.
In any case, Milan sorely need three points from Palermo's fellow islanders and arch-rivals Catania, who visit the San Siro this weekend. If There Was A Handball, It Was Unintentional - Amauri
Palermo striker Amauri spoke about yesterday's controversial victory over Milan, in which the Brazilian was probably guilty of a handball in the move that lead to Palermo's equaliser.

"My intention was to control the ball with my shoulder, and I think that the ball indeed touched my shoulder," the Brazilian said, "if I touched it with my hand it was completely involuntary. However, I'm sure that if Milan had won by a large margin no one would have talked about that episode..."
The striker then went on to talk about his state of form: "I'm finding my best condition, it's the third consecutive game I'm playing and I feel I'm close to my top form. Also the team is doing well, but we can't afford to think we are strong only because we beat Milan."
Ancelotti Invites Critics To Re-Watch Palermo Match
Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti came back on the controversial episode which led to Palermo's equaliser yesterday, and invited the nay-sayers to actually watch yesterday's game, which Milan admittedly dominated.
The day after the defeat against Palermo, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti revisited the episode of Amauri's handball during the move that led to the Rosanero's equaliser.
"What we're bitter about is that we played very well without picking up any points, and this mistake by the referee cost us a lot," he fumed.
"Stefano Farina is one of the best referees, anyone can make mistakes, but I think it was a pretty serious mistake and I won't say anything else because there is nothing more to add.
"That was a clear situation in which a player jumped in the air with his arm raised. Everyone saw that."
He also dismissed talk of a crisis at the Rossoneri.
"What I would say to those who say we are in a crisis? Take a look at a DVD of the match against Palermo," he concluded.
Milan are now 9th in the Serie A table with just six points from five games. They are already five points behind leaders Roma and Inter
We Can't Make These Mistakes - Seedorf
Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf was self-critical as he examined yesterday's controverial defeat to Palermo.
Clarence Seedorf came back to talk about yesterday's match between his Milan and Palermo, and tried to calm things down by admitting the faults of his team which, aside from mistakes by the referee, could have done better in defending the lead.
"Obviously we are disappointed about the mistakes made by the referee," he said.
"However, we are a team that, aside from the refereeing decisions, always tries to look at what it could have done better.
"Also yesterday, during the move that led to the goal, we could have done better to avoid the mistake of the referee.
"Amauri tried to control it, they didn't see what happened, but after the match he was honest enough to admit, after seeing the images, that he had touched the ball and that is not enough for me."
Seedorf had opened the score for Milan early in the first half, but the Rossoneri could not take advantage of the many chances they created at the Renzo Barbera stadium.
They were eventually pegged back by a controversial goal from Aimo Diana, who had received the ball from Amauri after the Brazilian had apparently controlled the ball with his arm. The Rosanero even ended up winning the match with an injury-time free kick by Fabrizio Miccoli.

意甲聯賽已經開賽整一個月，5輪比賽過後，裁判已經超過了參賽的各家球隊，成為最引人關注的重點，特別是在最近兩輪比賽之後，因為不滿裁判執法失誤而公開指責裁判委員會甚至裁判指派員哥連拿的球會負責人和球員變得越來越多，甚至不少知名足球界人士和電視評論員也加入到了這個行列。前意大利著名裁判，如今知名電視評論員格拉奇亞諾-塞薩里就公開表示，裁判指派員哥連拿的表現純屬‘神志不清’。
“哥連拿現在處在一個危機時刻，在我看來他似乎有點糊塗。他選擇裁判的時候似乎非常不慎重，看看特雷佛朗拿度在上周日利禾奴對國際米蘭的比賽中的表現吧。哥連拿希望培養年輕裁判，這很正常，在足球界承擔重要角色的人應該盡全力完成自己的責任。不過真正的問題是那些老裁判，哥連拿的那些舊日同僚們並不聽從他的領導。現在改革很明顯停滯了下來，”
在周三比賽結束當晚，隨著AC米蘭副主席加里亞尼在AC米蘭客場2-1負于巴勒莫之後對于裁判的嚴厲指責，關于裁判員執法問題的爭論被推到了一個新高度，特別是談到在拿玻里對利禾奴比賽之前突然更換當場裁判的‘奧爾薩托事件’時，格拉奇亞諾-塞薩里認為哥連拿做出了錯誤的決定。“哥連拿對于事件的處理非常糟糕，他不應該更換拿玻里對利禾奴比賽的四名裁判。他這種做法讓人不由對奧爾薩托有所懷疑。大多數人都不由立刻想到正是他把消息傳出去的。他沒有對奧爾薩托加以足夠的保護，而最後人們則發現消息其實是從負責安排管理裁判外出執法的AIA(意大利裁判委員會)組織內部流傳出去的。今後的解決辦法也許是將相關事宜委派給CAN這樣的外國獨立私人機構來負責，不過今後人們將用什麼眼光來看奧爾薩托？今後說起這件事人們記得的又會是什麼？搞不好重要的人才會就此毀掉。”
而除了哥連拿在行政管理上的失誤之外，他所挑選的裁判人選在比賽中所犯下的種種嚴重錯誤也成為了飽受各球會詬病的另一個方面。周三的雨戰確實給球員和裁判都造成了不小的影響，不過在比賽中裁判員所犯下的錯誤在賽後受到了來自球會和球員的最多指責。
“我寧可不做評論，不過很遺憾裁判確實有錯誤。在錫耶納的時候他們越位兩米度，那就算了，而這次阿毛里很明顯是用胳膊停球的，我覺得這說不過去。需要好好了解一下我們的裁判指派員哥連拿對此到底是怎麼想的。”對于自己的球隊在補時階段被逆轉輸掉了比賽，AC米蘭的副主席加里亞尼在賽後接受採訪時毫不掩飾地對于法里納在執法AC米蘭對巴勒莫的比賽時的失誤表達了不滿，，並表示必定要向責任者尋求一個解釋：“比賽中出現了很多嚴重的錯誤，都是針對我們的處罰，我不明白這是為什麼。”隨後，阿毛里本人承認了自己的手球：“我當時想拿肩膀把球停下來，但看來我確實伸出了手，如果是這樣的話，那麼就是犯規了，”不過阿毛里表示真正的問題還在AC米蘭自己抓不住機會，“他們有很多機會，如果他們大比分獲勝的話，我想沒人會對這件事那麼在意。”
不管怎樣，AC米蘭並不是唯一一個對于裁判的執法懷有怨言的球隊，在幾支主要的大球隊中，和費倫天拿在剛結束的比賽中最終打成2-2丟掉了到手的勝利的羅馬隊對于裁判的表現也頗有微辭。盡管羅馬隊還是默認了最後的比賽結果(這也許和羅馬至今仍然保持著聯賽領頭羊地位不無關系，盡管如今國際米蘭的積分已經追上了來，兩支位于積分榜榜首的球隊將於本周六在羅馬奧林匹克球場展開爭奪頭名的戰鬥)，不過對于裁判在比賽中出現的錯誤和造成的影響，羅馬人還是難免有看法。球隊主教練史巴列堤在談起本場比賽中裁判所犯下的錯誤時顯示了更多的寬容：“我們誰都有可能犯錯。貝爾岡奇還是個年輕的裁判，很有希望，等他有了更多經驗的時候應該會表現得更好。”不過因傷被迫下場的塔戴伊就沒有這麼好說話，他直言不諱地諷刺到：“我們的對手不僅是費倫天拿，還有裁判。”而皮薩羅則希望緩和目前的氣氛：“過多的指責抱怨是沒有用處的：是我們自己沒有像往常一樣表現出自己的水平。”
此外，裁判的誤判不止AC米蘭和羅馬這兩例，熱拿亞球隊的盧比尼奧也敗在了裁判的判罰下。盡管並沒有越線，巴斯人卻因為被判罰禁區外手球而被驅逐出場，在卡坦尼亞對安玻里的比賽中，馬天尼斯的進球也與裁判的判罰失誤有關，直接影響了比賽的結果。
不過不管怎樣，如今意甲聯賽的裁判們已經成為了被關注的重點對象，不管是確有其事還是過分誇大，在意大利，指責裁判的過失已經屢見不鮮。哥連拿無疑已經認識到了這一點，不過不管怎樣，對于他來說，這已經不是今天才頭一次遇到的事情了。
