Roma return to Manchester United tonight - with Cristiano Ronaldo claiming that the last time he faced the Italian side he had them begging for mercy.
United memorably thrashed Roma 7-1 in last season's Champions League quarter-final second leg and Ronaldo, who scored twice that night, said: 'When we were 6-0 up, one of their players said 'don't do any more dribbles', almost begging.
'I won't reveal his name as these are comments brought about by the game.'
Last season, the tie was marred by violence between the two sets of fans before United went on to produce one of their best-ever performances in Europe.
Defenders Wes Brown and Nemanja Vidic are doubts after the pair picked up knocks at Birmingham - John O'Shea and Gerard Pique will step in if they fail fitness tests - but Owen Hargreaves trained this morning and is in line to make his European debut for United.
Boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted he might be tempted to bring the former Bayern Munich midfielder straight back into the fray despite his lack of match practice.
He said: 'Hargreaves is a possibility but to be honest I would have liked for him to have had some more football for such an important game.
'European football is a different level for speed and tactics.'
United won their opening Champions League group game two weeks ago, winning 1-0 at Sporting Lisbon.
