I think maybe the teams are exploiting a loophole, as the rule state the shirt be used for two seasons unless special occasion. So now you can see that teams will try to use all kind of events or person to justify a special occasion/reason. And alot of teams are playing the last game of the season using the new kits, so effectively, the kit is being used for this season and the next season (2 seasons).....
