Shola Ameobi to sign for Leeds
Reports coming out of Newcastle are that Shola Ameobi will sign for Leeds on loan with view to a permanent deal next season.
Ameobi has scored 28 goals in 168 appearances for Newcastle, he was on loan at Stoke last season and was offered a deal to join them on permanent terms this summer, Ameobi turned this deal down.
Shola's brother Tomi plays for Leeds, but is currently at Donny Rovers having a trial.

Ferguson says Ronaldo is staying
Sir Alex Ferguson says winger Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United next season.
Ferguson confirmed he met Ronaldo, 23, in Lisbon last week after much speculation about the player's future.
"The meeting went well - I think we both put across our points of view - where we stand and where the player stands," explained Ferguson.
"I can say he'll be a Manchester United player next season. That's our stance - he won't be sold."
United will hope that Ferguson's comments at a press conference in South Africa will put an end to rumours linking Ronaldo with a transfer to Real Madrid.
