The match is in progress; 32 minutes of the first half have been played.

A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 1535 to King's Park. A 3-4-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Recreio. The following players had been chosen: Maia - Wijatkowski, Gutiérrez, Strouhal - Slik, Alışık, Bäckflod, 常賢 (Changxian) - Almog, Zelizňák, Elzem.

Arsenalcesc had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation. They fielded: Pastor - Karlsson, Ricci, Couwenberg - Bojsen, Lebriz, Romi, Vãrzaru, Wolfgring - Büki, Marañón.

Recreio saw most attack opportunities on the wings. Conny Bäckflod was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, Recreio's Menachem Almog managed to get hold of the rebound and scored the 1-0 goal. 30 minutes into the game Arsenalcesc's Klaus Bojsen found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1.
