All Star Break AnnouncementsTomorrow is the all-star game, and the league schedule will resume on Saturday, after two Tournament game days. As announced last season, we have been developing a new and improved staff system. Monday was the last day that we will generate staff members under the old system. In preparation for the new system, Saturday, 4 October, will be the last day that you can change staff members under the old system. The transition is complex, and will result in our shutting down some options temporarily while we make the switch. A full schedule of the transition will be posted on the staff page this weekend.
This season, we instituted a revenue sharing plan that gave a portion of all ticket sale revenue directly to the players. The revenue sharing is a temporary measure, and will continue only until player salaries have risen to the point where teams are spending most of their revenue on salaries. Our current estimate for next season is that since the best players are more skilled, the revenue sharing will be decreased to approximately 15-35% for Division I, 5-20% for Division II, and 0-5% for division III. Division IV and above will continue to be unaffected. The final numbers will be announced at the transfer deadline following the last game of the season.

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will NOT help him heal more quickly. Doctors can have the following specialties
Taping Injuries: There is a small chance that a player's minor injury can be taped up immediately, and he will be able to return to the game at the start of the next quarter.
Massage: Players who play too many minutes in a given week will not experience as severe a drop in game shape.
Trainers assist the coach in making the most of the team training hours, both in-game and during the week. Trainers can have the following specialties:
Career Extension: Older players will not experience skill drops as frequently.
Fitness: The magnitude of the random Stamina drops experienced by your players is decreased.
Public Relations Managers help market the team to the fans, encouraging more people to show up to games and be willing to pay more for tickets. Public Relation Managers can have the following specialties:
Crowd Involvement: Your team will experience a slightly stronger Home-Court Advantage for your home games.
National Appeal: When your team is on the road, your opponents will have a slightly decreased Home-Court Advantage.
