39741 spectators had found their way to Highbury@HK, despite the heavy rain. Gunners had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation. The following players took the field: Kopylovas - Escoffier, Momcilović, 伟廉 (Weilian), Chin Yao, Oviedo - Nikonen, Rahikainen, Stokfisz - Chappe, Bech Jørgensen.
Architectz decided to use a 2-5-3 set up. They fielded: Chico de Guzmán - Romano, Petculescu - Kundla, 豪山 (Haoshan) , Holtzman, Han Bo, Üleoja - Elguera, Pumalaynen, Karabasma.
Counter-attacking seemed to be the preferred strategy of Gunners. Architectz took a creative approach on the field. Patrick Chappe showed great fighting spirit and didn't seem to mind the rain at all. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Architectz's Volkan Ural Karabasma in the 33:th minute. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. Gunners's Oskari Rahikainen was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick in the 34:th minute. In the 37:th minute, Architectz appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only weak. Some fine manoeuvring on the left led to a Architectz goal in the 38:th minute, making it 0 - 2. Toonart Kundla was noted down as the scorer. A drive on the left side allowed Architectz's Volkan Ural Karabasma to get in close and score a goal in the 41:th minute, leading to 0 - 3. At this point in the game, defending their lead became the main priority for Architectz. Gunners reduced the lead to 1 - 3 in the 43:th minute when Oskari Rahikainen got the best of a ball floated in from the left. After 44 minutes Gunners's Patrick Chappe contracted a slight foot injury, but could finish the game. In the 45:th minute, Architectz appeared unsure on how to play and their organization was only poor. Gunners supporters cheered in the 45:th minute as good work down the right got the ball to Szymon Stokfisz who reduced the visitors' lead to 2 - 3. Gunners's 杜 (Du) 伟廉 (Weilian) got himself booked for a foul. It was 2 - 3 at the break. Architectz claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 59 percent.
The Architectz players spent the halftime break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organization and regained a passable organization. After the ball was lifted in from the left, Steven Üleoja was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored in the 48:th minute, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration. A well placed corner kick from Matti Nikonen was followed by Vlado Momcilović's hard but accurate header. The nice combination marked a goal for Gunners, the score now 3-3. In the 74:th minute, Architectz seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to poor. Steven Üleoja did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. The visitors' central defence should have had no trouble clearing the pass to Jean-Baptiste Escoffier, but the Gunners player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 4 - 3! A well-executed free kick by Matti Nikonen in the 82:th minute made it 5 - 3 for Gunners. Architectz held the ball, with a clear 63 percent of possession.
Gunners's top performer was clearly Szymon Stokfisz. Oskari Rahikainen turned in a dismal performance, however. Architectz's top performer was clearly Sha Han Bo. On the other hand, Alessio Romano's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 3.
