It has been confirmed that the Lega Calcio have suspended Inter coach Jose Mourinho for three matches following his actions during the 0-0 stalemate against Sampdoria on Saturday.
Inter had two men sent off in the first-half, defenders Walter Samuel and Ivan Cordoba, prompting the Portuguese tactician to later make a gesture like he was in handcuffs. He also began laughing hysterically whenSamuel Eto'o was booked for a dive in the penalty area.
The sporting judge Giampaolo Tosel imposed the three match ban as he believed that the ex-Chelsea boss was "repeatedly challenging the officials through blatant actions." The suspension is also applied due to "using insulting expressions towards the referees and his assistants" and "questioning the presence of the federal prosecutors by the Inter and Sampdoria benches during the second-half of the game."
Mourinho has also been fined €40,000.
Meanwhile, more bans have been handed out to the Nerazzurri players. For their red cards, both Samuel and Cordoba will miss one Serie A match, but midfielders Esteban Cambiasso and Sulley Muntari will be banned for two league matches.
The Argentine reportedly tried to punch a Sampdoria player on his way to the dressing room at half-time, while the Ghana international repeatedly insulted match officials when being substituted off the pitch.

Julio Cesar has suffered brusing to his face after smashing his Lamborghini in a road accident near the San Siro on Sunday night, and he is now in doubt for Inter's Champions League clash against Chelsea on Wednesday.
Sky Sport Italia reports the goalkeeper escaped without serious injury, but with bruising to his face after crashing his car near the San Siro area of Milan.
He turned up for training at Appiano Gentile on Monday morning, but he was sent home by Inter staff after being unable to train with the rest of the squad. The cause of the accident remains unknown.
News of the accident spread throughout the team, and it is said the atmosphere around the club is sombre. Jose Mourinho is also said to be annoyed after hearing what happened.
Francesco Toldo has been training in preparation for the game against Chelsea if Cesar is ruled out. The Italian has only played three times in the Coppa Italia this term.

Former Italy defender Christian Panucci has had his Parma contract terminated by mutual consent.
Pannuci, 36, has only been with Parma for seven months, making just 19 appearances, but he has opted to leave with the club currently languishing in 13th place in the Serie A table.
A club statement read: "Parma FC, after having considered the personal reasons given by the player, would like to note the consensual rescission of Christian Panucci's contract with the club, which was set to expire on June 30."
Panucci also released a statement of his own, via the Parma website, and was quick to play down reports he had left the club due to a bust-up with coach Francesco Guidolin.
He said: "Christian Panucci would like to note his contract rescission with Parma because of strict personal reasons. The contract had tied him to Parma until June 30 2010.
"Panucci would like to thank the club, president Ghirardi, the team and all the fans, and wishes them the best fortunes. In relation to certain news published by the press in recent days, Panucci categorically denies any friction with the coach and this was not a basis for his decision."
