Lyon midfielder Michel Bastos is set to finalise a move to United Arab Emirates side Al-Ain.
The Brazilian, 29, agreed a long-term loan deal with Schalke last season but the German side have not sought a permanent transfer despite being given first refusal.
Instead, L’Equipe reports that Al-Ain should complete a €4.5 million deal for the former Lille player on the eve of his birthday.
News of interest from the Middle East was first reported last week, with Lyon desperate to reduce costs in the wake of a €25 million shortfall.
They have already made a profit of €17 million from player sales during the summer and are still keen to offload strikers Bafetimbi Gomis and Jimmy Briand.

戰局大致上係由哥帥的拜仁慕尼黑控制的, 進攻上組織尚可但臨門把握以至最後一傳就未復理想狀況 (正常的, "高峰過 總會有下坡", 但仍可能長遠踢出延續性而稱得上皇朝, 再看再說...況且哥帥在嘗試或多或少改革嘛), 就如昨日小勝聖保羅兩蛋 (換邊後有文特素傑及米曹.韋沙各一替補進球) 一樣情況

主隊哥帥的拜仁慕尼黑已反先 2:1, party 應該冇被玩串吧

噢! 文特素傑抽中彭迪利蒙 (冇錯, 同喺香港踢英超亞洲挑戰賽一樣, 祖.赫治只踢兩場當中第一場, 亦係理論上較易應付戲碼...而本來無限接近離隊他投嘅彭迪利蒙就踢另一場對理論上較難應付對手) 左柱彈出, 未能頭頂腳踢梅開二度...

應屆德甲盟主哩個主場捧盃友誼波 party 差d就被某前德甲冠軍兼後來終於成為德甲神射手的波斯尼亞前鋒玩串鳥
中門大開, 或至少係中堅走甩哲高吧, 俾佢半單刀埋門, 喺拉芬拿 (後備上陣) 包抄盡力壓迫之下, 半窩利施射過唔到紐亞
比歷堅尼的曼城也許沒能跟應屆三冠王爭場面, 但其實佢地今場都不乏門前失機 (好幾次)...本來可以令哥帥又吃一悶棍
今場友誼波兩隊前景類同 -- 將被新帥新兵帶來或多或少轉變, 期待於正賽當中盡快修成正果...

Emre Can joins Leverkusen, FCB retain option
FC Bayern Munich and Bayer 04 Leverkusen have agreed terms on the transfer of Germany U-21 international Emre Can. The 19-year-old midfielder moves immediately to Bayern’s Bundesliga rivals, where he will put his name to a four-year contract. FC Bayern have retained the option of bringing Emre Can back to Munich at some point in the future. All other details of the agreement remain undisclosed.
“Emre Can is one of the biggest talents in German football,” commented FC Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, “we’ve taken this step to ensure he gains sufficient match practice, as we’ve done in the past with the likes of Toni Kroos in Leverkusen, Philipp Lahm with VfB Stuttgart and David Alaba in Hoffenheim.”

Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler has said he had "sleepless nights" after turning down offers from Real Madrid and Manchester City during the summer. Draxler, 19, put pen to paper on a new Schalke deal, reported to include a ¬45 million release clause, in May. Both Real and City had wanted to trigger the clause - but the Germany international opted to stay with the Royal Blues for at least one more season.
