SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) - Sacramento Kings center Brad Miller broke his left leg in practice Saturday and could miss the rest of the regular season.
A two-time All-Star, Miller had missed the last six games due to a bruised right calf. This injury is much more serious, however.
Miller was participating in light shooting drills during practice when he suffered the injury. X-rays taken at the UC Davis Medical Center revealed a non-displaced fracture of his left fibula.
The injury will take four to six weeks to heal. The NBA season ends April 20, less than six weeks away.
In his seventh season and second with the Kings, the 7-foot Miller is averaging 15.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 56 games. He was an All-Star with Indiana in 2003 and Sacramento in 2004.
The Kings have been hit hard by injuries. Sparkplug guard Bobby Jackson is out for the season following wrist surgery and forward Peja Stojakovic has missed a dozen games with a variety of ailments.
In Miller's absence, the Kings have used recently acquired Brian Skinner as their starting center. Skinner is averaging 9.5 points and 8.4 rebounds in eight games since arriving from Philadelphia in the Chris Webber deal. BB kings.... 塔治你既表演機會來了 :o Originally posted by 小妖 at 13-3-2005 04:08 PM:
