Hammers eye De Goey

迪高爾:eek:

West Ham United have made a move for Dutch veteran Ed De Goey, according to sources in Holland.

The Hammers have already sealed the signing of one goalkeeper this summer in the shape of Roy Carroll, but now manager Alan Pardew is believed to be looking for further experience.

The 38-year-old is out of contract at Stoke City and is set to leave The Britannia Stadium.

De Goey had been considering an offer from Heracles, but he is reported to have shunned a move back to De Eredivisie in order to pursue a switch to Upton Park.

West Ham are now believed to be favourites for De Goey's signature after reportedly offering him a two-year contract.
