Palácio Makes Difference For Pekerman

Could Veron come back?
Boca's presidentMauricio Macri asserted that the club could try to hire Sebastián Verón, in case the club's present playmaker Federico Insúa should accept any one of the offers that have been made to him from abroad and leaves his position in the team vacant.
In statements made to a radio station Macrie explained the possibilities: : " Should Federico Insúa accept anyof the offers that have been made to him from Europe and leaves his position in the team vacant we have two alternatives: we bet on the players we have or we bring in some reputed player like "the witch" Verón.
Moreover he said that "within the next ten days the subject Insúa may arrive at a definition"ThePocho (Insúa) has been approached by Germany's Hamburg and France's Lens
The rumours that Verón might again don Boca's jersey have been on the streets for several days, but River and Estudiantes de La Plata have also been mentioned as his possible destinations.
The fact is that Verón at present is in Argentina and, according to what he has said, he would love to play in his home country. "My idea is to stay here, above all, taking into account my family", Inter's midfielder stated.
Macri was also asked about the possibility that other sales might be in the offing. "Abbondanzieri'stransfer has luckily entered the cooler. Now we are at ease, because if he stays Boca won't need another goalkeeper.
