AC Milan invite £60M Chelsea bid for Shevchenko

AC Milan have told Chelsea they can sign Andriy Shevchenko, the Ukraine forward, if they offer them a world-record transfer fee of £60 million.

The News of the World says Milan have revived negotiations with Chelsea over Shevchenko, with the player now touching 30.

Last month, the Italian club turned down a £57 million bid by the Barclays Premiership champions for the player. Chelsea will be hoping that Shevchenko's friendship with their owner, Roman Abramovich, will make a deal easier to agree. :icon073::icon073::icon073:
