COLOMBO: 'Important confirmations for the youth side'

MILAN - Angelo Colombo, head of Milan’s youth sector, spoke about the youth team ahead of the 2005-06 season, and pointed out: ’Last year we had the youngest youth side of the tournament, we just had a 19-year-old player, Rodrigo Digao, Kaka’s brother. This year, instead, we have changed something and have decided to keep five players born in 1986, that are goalkeeper Favaretto, the same Marzoratti who impressed at the Under-20 World Cup, Marzeglia, Legati and Bloudek. This because it is important for these players, as they confirmed, to remain at Milanello and work with the first team, they can improve more than moving elsewhere.’

The coaches of the Rossoneri youth sides have been all confirmed:
BARESI (Youth team), MUSICCO (Juniores Berretti), EVANI (Allievi Nazionali), FIORIN (Allievi Regionali), ERANIO (Giovanissimi Nazionali), BERTANI (Giovanissimi Regionali), RUBAGOTTI (Giovanissimi Regionali C ’83), CASTELLAZZI (Esordienti Regionali ’94), MALDERA (Esordienti Regionali ’95, championship with 9-man team in the first part, 11-man for the return), COLOMBO (Pulcini ’96, 7-man team for the first part, 9-man for the second).
