Keane-Sir Alex bust up
Manchester United captain Roy Keane and Sir Alex Ferguson are reported to have had a major bust-up.
Widespread reports on Sunday suggest that Keane is missing from the United tour of Asia because of a row with Ferguson.
United claim Keane is absent from the trip because of a hamstring injury, but now rumours are circulating that Keane has been omitted for disciplinary reasons.
The alleged bust-up is believed to have happened at United's training camp in Portugal three weeks ago.
Keane is thought to have complained about the players' families being invited onto the trip.
Ferguson had called his squad back a week earlier than usual, but with training on the Algarve restricted to half-daily sessions, the United boss decided to let wives and children accompany his squad for the duration of the week-long stay.
Keane is believed to made his feelings clear to Ferguson and that both men exchanged angry words.
The news of the bust-up comes as something of a surprise as the pair have been close, with Ferguson always quick the sign the praises of the Irishman.
United officials have refused to comment on the claims that both men had a row and that Keane was axed from the tour as a result.
