Figo given Inter ultimatum

Inter will reportedly sign Real Madrid ace Luis Figo by Thursday or not at all, insist reports in Italy.
The Nerazzurri want to net the player by then in order to have him available for the Champions’ League preliminary tie against Shakhtar Donetsk.
It is widely understood that the club have offered him a two-year deal worth £2.5m a season, and it is now up to the winger to make his decision.
Figo is expected to leave Real, given that his contract expires next summer, with Liverpool and Valencia also keen.
But the Portuguese star is eager to finally test himself in Italian football after almost moving to Serie A in 1996.
He was set to arrive but his move was blocked after he signed agreements with both Juventus and Parma, which eventually saw him join Barcelona instead.
Whispers suggest that there could be significant developments by as soon as this evening as talks continue.
Figo could be the third Real player to move to the San Siro this summer after the capture of Santiago Solari and Walter Samuel.
