Capello Insists On C.Zanetti

Juventus coach Fabio Capello is desperate to sign Inter midfielder Cristano Zanetti, according to reports in Italy.
The former Roma boss sees the Italian international as the perfect man to step in for either Emerson or Patrick Vieira, the first-choice central midfield pairing.

A meeting with Inter patron Massimo Moratti looks imminent, although it remains to be seen how keen the nerazzurri would be to let Zanetti move to one of their biggest rivals.

Zanetti was a regular under Capello at Roma.
