Liverpool & Villa agree Baros fee...￡6.5m
From BBC..Liverpool have agreed a fee to sell striker Milan Baros to Aston Villa.
Baros, 24, is believed to have agreed personal terms and will now have a medical on Tuesday before completing a move worth about ￡6.5m.
Lyon are understood to have tabled an ￡8.5m bid for the Czech forward but he wanted to stay in the Premiership.
Baros recently said: "Villa are a quality club and I do not consider this a backward step at all. My situation will be better there."
Villa right midfielder Nolberto Solano has been linked with a move in the opposite direction and the Midlands club's boss David O'Leary insisted he will not stand in Solano's way should he want to leave.
"I will never keep someone, at any club I am at, who wants to leave," said O'Leary. "That is the bottom line.
"Nobby has seen the headlines and he has asked about it.
"But I told him no-one from Liverpool has made contact with me about it and Nobby was fine."
Baros was Liverpool's joint top-scorer with 13 goals last season but now he is behind Djibril Cisse, Fernando Morientes and Peter Crouch in the pecking order.

Liverpool midfielder John Welsh has joined Hull City on a season-long loan move.
The 21-year-old joins his England Under-21 boss Peter Taylor at The Kingston Communications Stadium in a bid to get more first team experience under his belt.
Welsh penned a new Reds deal last season and did see some action under Rafa Benitez, but the Spaniard was willing to let him leave.
Welsh has now joined Hull for the season to sample life in The Championship, and is delighted with the move.
"I'm delighted with the deal," Welsh told the club website.
"Hull is a big club and I know the manager Peter Taylor well from the England Under-21 set-up.
"It's a good move for me at this stage of my career and I'm just looking to get some first team games under my belt and gain some valuable experience."
Taylor was equally happy to have signed the tenacious young midfielder, who he knows well from England duty.
"John is a very good player and someone I know well from my time with England, so I'm delighted to have him here for the season," said Taylor.
"He's always impressed me with his attitude and application to the game, which came as no surprise to me given the excellent upbringing he's had at Liverpool.
"I've made him captain on the Under-21s on a couple of occasions because I've every faith in him as a player and a person."
Although Welsh faces an uncertain future at Anfield, the Liverpool Academy graduate has not given up hope of making the grade with the European champions.
"I'm not sure what the future holds for me at Liverpool but I haven't given up hope of coming back and making it," added Welsh.
"I know it's going to be difficult because there are so many good players at the club, but Stephen Warnock is a good example of a player going out on loan then coming back to establish himself in the first team squad." Originally posted by 講野無point的人 at 2005-8-23 03:28 AM:
