Fab Bolton deal back on
Skysports.com can reveal Bolton have resurrected their move for Fabrice Fernandes at the 11th hour.The move appeared to be off after Bolton chairman Phil Gartside refused to sanction the deal.
Fernandes seemed set to stay at Southampton after Bolton initially pulled the plug on the deal, but Sam Allardyce has moved to bring him to The Reebok Stadium.
Allardyce is keen to bolster his squad before the transfer window closes and he has pulled out all the stops to sign Fernandes.
The Frenchman makes the move to Bolton on a free transfer after reaching an agreement to leave Southampton for nothing despite having a year left on his contract.
The player's agent Willie McKay confirmed the move was back on after Allardyce moved to get the deal back on track.
"Sam Allardyce has been on the phone to get the deal back on," McKay told skysports.com.
"Sam has been keen to sign Fabrice and he has moved to get him.

DOB: 29-10-79 Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Southampton winger Fabrice Fernandes on a free transfer. The Frenchman has signed a one-year deal.
Bolton manager Sam Allardyce told his club's official website: "Fabrice will add depth to our side and being a left sided player he is a rare commodity in the modern game.
