Arsenal boss Wenger sitting on £30M kitty


Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could splash out big when the winter market opens in January.

Wenger's reluctance to spend during the summer market raised doubts over the size of his transfer budget and also has senior players considering their futures at Highbury.

However, the Daily Express says Wenger is sitting on a mega £30 million transfer warchest, which he is prepared to utilise should his team's youngsters fail to keep pace with Chelsea and Manchester United in the opening months of this season.
