Roman ruled out
Villarreal playmaker Juan Roman Riquelme has been ruled out of his side's UEFA Champions League clash with Manchester United.The Argentine international has failed to recover from an ankle injury he picked up last weekend.
Riquelme was forced off with the injury during the 1-1 draw with Sevilla.
Villarreal were keen to have the former Barcelona man available for the visit of United, but despite intensive treatment he has failed to recover.
Hector Font and Roger Garcia are battling it out to replace Riquelme in the starting line-up against United.
