上位英國喪Band
The Horrors
幾時都話，形象與音樂不可分離，最近紅爆的英國五人樂隊The Horrors就是好例子。由Southend的鄉下仔變成雜誌Cover Stars，The Horrors一味靠怪雞、黑暗、野性、喪狂、恐怖的外形與聲音而上位，唱片一夜間賣斷之餘，連鼎鼎大名的Dior Homme總監Hedi Slimane和MV導演Chris Cunningham都是他們的超級Fans。
The Horrors成員包括主音Faris Rotter、結他手Joshua Von Grimm、Bass手Tomethy Furse、琴手Spider Webb和鼓手Coffin Joe，雖然無個英俊靚仔，但講型就贏晒。Hedi Slimane一向喜歡英國Band Sound，Franz Ferdinand和Razorlight都給他不少創作靈感，而Dior Homme的○七年S/S預演中，天橋上的模特兒個個都The Horrors上身，是Hedi又一Music式設計。
六十年代音樂風格
至於音樂風格上，The Horrors明顯深受六十年代的Garage和迷幻所影響，兩張Single《Sheena is a Parasite》和《Death at the Chapel》都是限量發行的七吋黑膠，並無CD版本，所以更加珍貴，想買的話只好捱eBay的炒貨。而《Sheena is a Parasite》的MV亦有段古，話說曾跟Bjork、Aphex Twins等合作的導演Chris Cunningham，無意間瀏覽The Horrors在MySpace的網頁，一聽鍾情後便替樂隊執導，不過由於用上警示燈拍攝，已被MTV台禁播，但這反而助長The Horrors的聲勢，人氣熱爆，他們製作中的首張專集，肯定是今年音樂與潮流界最令人期待的盛事。

Ian Brown Confirmed for Rockit 2006
2006 has been a busy year for Ian Brown. In March he picked up an award for 'God like Genuis' for his contribution to music from NME. The former Stone Roses singer is sure to be a crowd pleaser and has been headlining the festival circuit throughout Europe through the summer. Tickets for Rockit go on sale 6th September through HMV and Hong Kong Ticketing."
