Rooney has no grudge with NielsenRooney out to improve discipline
Wayne Rooney says he bears no grudge towards referee Kim Milton Nielsen, who will be in charge of England's final World Cup qualifier against Poland.
The Danish official sent Rooney off in Manchester United's recent Champions League tie at Vallareal.
But Rooney said: "I don't think there will be any problems, he's a good referee and does a good job.
"I don't think I've become a trophy for referees. I've made some bad decisions on the field but I'll learn from that."
Rooney returns against Poland at Old Trafford after missing Saturday's match against Austria through suspension.
The Manchester United striker served a one-match ban after picking up a yellow card in England's defeat to Northern Ireland in Belfast.
Rooney said: "I didn't particularly like sitting in the stand on Saturday. But that's made me doubly determined to help us round things off in style.
"Although we've qualified there's no question of us easing up against Poland. We want to finish in style and give something back to the fans."
A bullish Rooney was in confident mood and predicted that England can be a success in Germany next summer and improve on their quarter-final finish at Euro 2004.

He said: "I think we have got a great chance. This squad is better than the one that went to Portugal.
"We've got a good squad, with some of the best players in the world. It's a younger squad than at Euro 2004 and that can only be good for us in the World Cup.
"I was gutted when I was injured in the quarter-finals of Euro 2004 against Portugal and had to come off.
"But that's made me even more determined to do well in Germany."
Meanwhile, Ledley King said he is willing to play anywhere to get into England's World Cup squad.
Tottenham central defender King was used in a midfield substitute role by England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson against Austria.
King said: "It's nice that the manager thinks I can play in more than one position and if he wants me to play in midfield I'm confident I can do a good job.
"There are still a lot of players out there who are doing well and can play in the defensive midfield position and I'm not taking anything for granted."
With David Beckham suspended on Wednesday, Michael Owen will captain the team.
Owen said: "It is a magical feeling to lead out your country - and even more of an honour when you see how easy it would be for the manager to give the armband to the likes of John Terry or Steven Gerrard," Owen told The Times.
