Ian Poulter逃過一劫
雖然佢著住件阿仙奴波衫出現係杜拜公開賽, 但係唔會因此而受罰Poulter avoids Arsenal shirt fine
England's Ian Poulter will not be fined for wearing a football shirt during the recent Abu Dhabi Championship.
The Arsenal fan wore the club's maroon home jersey during the third round of the competition a fortnight ago.
European Tour officials were unhappy with the jersey as the sponsor's logo on the front of the shirt was too big.
But they decided not to punish the Ryder Cup star, although players will no longer be permitted to sport football shirts in future events.
"I just wanted to spice it up a bit and would be very disappointed if I was fined," said Poulter.
"I suppose if everyone turned up in the football shirt of the team they support, all hell would break loose. But it was just a bit of fun and I didn't mean to upset anybody."
