Against Chievo you continued with Dejan Stankovic in the centre of midfield and the Serb gave a great reply.
"I continued with him in that position because Cambiasso had only returned from Argentina on Friday evening. He had only done one training session and I was a bit worried about fielding him from the first minute like I did in Lecce. I preferred not to take any risks. I know Stankovic well and I know he can give a lot more as a central midfielder than he can on the wing. I have great faith in him, he's a physically strong player and he has everything required to be a strong midfielder. He has no problems playing in the midfield and attacking roles."
