Paletta正式與利物浦談個人條例
Banfield confirm Liverpool talksGabriel Paletta's club, Banfield, have announced that the player will travel to England to open talks with Liverpool.
Skysports.com revealed earlier that the European champions had won the race to sign the talented Argentinean and his club have now confirmed that talks are at an advanced stage.
Paletta is expected in England after his club's game with River Plate this weekend to discuss terms with Liverpool and undergo a medical wth a view to a summer move.
"He will travel to England after the game against River Plate to discuss terms with Liverpool club officials," said a statement on Banfield's website.
"The English club want him to undergo a medical before discussing personal terms."
"The discussions are very advanced, the only thing remaining is to sort out the minor details but they shouldn't be a problem.
"Everything should be sorted out by the end of the weekend."
The player is excited about the prospect of playing in England and is hoping to prove himself.
"It would be a great opportunity, it would be a good move for the club as well as me," Paletta added.

Liverpool can today confirm that Gabriel Paletta will join the club this summer, subject to a medical.
Atletico Banfield centre-back Paletta, who is 20 tomorrow, has agreed a four-year deal with the Reds.
A star player in Argentina's under-20 World Championship triumph in 2005, the highly-rated youngster is regarded as a strong, decisive and robust defender.
Standing tall at over six foot and weighing in at 80kg, his services have been coveted by a host of top South American and European clubs.
Paletta will become the second Argentine to play for Liverpool, following in the footsteps of Mauricio Pellegrino.
