France calls up Clerc for first time

里昂後衛Clerc只有十二場法甲出場經驗就被選入國家隊

另外羅馬既Mexes隨著羅馬十連勝既氣勢都係兩年後回歸

仲有安歷卡都有得留低

至於ribery似乎今個夏天都淨係可以睇電視了

PARIS (AP) - France coach Raymond Domenech called up in-form Lyon defender Francois Clerc for the first time Thursday ahead of next month's World Cup warmup against Slovakia.

The 22-year-old Clerc has played 12 times for Lyon this season and figured in Tuesday's 1-0 Champions League win over PSV Eindhoven.

Domenech also recalled AS Roma defender Philippe Mexes after a two-year absence. He has six caps, the last as a late substitute in February 2004's 2-0 win over Belgium.

He also retained Fenerbahce striker Nicolas Anelka for the March 1 game at Stade de France. Anelka returned in November after more than three years out of the squad because of a disagreement with former coach Jacques Santini, who would not include him in the starting lineup.

Goalkeepers Fabien Barthez and Gregory Coupet were both called up for the game in Paris, but Domenech has not said which will be first choice at the June 9-July 9 World Cup.

Midfielders: Vikash Dhorasoo (Paris Saint-Germain), Alou Diarra (Lens), Claude Makelele (Chelsea), Patrick Vieira (Juventus), Florent Malouda (Lyon), Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid).

Strikers: Nicolas Anelka (Fenerbahce), Thierry Henry (Arsenal), Louis Saha (Manchester United), Sylvain Wiltord (Lyon), David Trezeguet (Juventus).
