Koeman: Reds will be easy
Ronald Koeman has taunted Liverpool, claiming that they will be easily beaten when they face his Benfica side on Wednesday.The former Dutch international - who will always be remembered by England fans for the goal which consigned Graham Taylor's men to a watching brief in the 1994 World Cup finals - says beating The Reds will be no problem.
In fact, he reckons it will be easier than playing against the opposition he faces week-in, week-out in the Primiera Liga.
"We play with greater ease against the big teams than we do against the lesser ones," he told the Daily Mirror.
"It will be easier for us than it is against many small teams in our league."

RONALD KOEMAN has cast doubt on Liverpool's ability to score the goals necessary to reach the Champions League quarterfinals this evening.
The Anfield side must net at least once to take tonight's second leg to extra-time, after Benfica won the first match 1-0 in Lisbon a fortnight ago.
Liverpool have scored two goals in only one of their last 12 outings in league and cup, and have netted in only three of their seven games in the Champions League proper this season. And Benfica coach Koeman said: "They are not very confident about scoring goals. I have seen the Charlton game and they had plenty of chances but they didn't take any.
"It's not usual for them to score three or four goals - they just don't have a good feeling about scoring, and if we get one, it would change things again.
"I know as a player, when you are 1-0 down, it's not a nice result and you have to chase the game.
"Maybe Liverpool's scoring problems can change in a day, but we are more confident."
Koeman also rubbished any suggestion the Anfield crowd could have any bearing. He added: "The Liverpool crowd creates a great ambience, but you have to ask yourself how many goals they will score. This game will be decided inside the white lines."
