Q2: suggest you consider Part 1 of Schedule 10 to the Securities and Futures Ordinance. (regarding insider dealing) Q1: For an audit firm, auditing is to serve its clients for complying with the legal obligations (pls go to read the Companies Ordinance for details)
For an accounting firm, preparing the books of accounts is also to serve its clients for keeping proper books and accounts.

Q5: 唔係 note / account payable... 而係 noteS / accountS payable
accounts payable 係間公司的principal activities的未繳數
E.g., for a company engaged in trading of toys, when it purchases the toys without paying immediately, then it records as follows:-
Dr. Stock XXX
Cr. Accounts payable XXX
Notes payable... 應該係指 bank loan
或
有時公司會issue D commercial paper (可以說是發債....)
then
Dr. Cash XXXX
Cr. Notes payable XXXX

Asset 係帶來 Revenue 既野
用 Expense 既目的其實都係 想賺多d Revenue
我估係咁上下 :icon101: (3) from accounting equation, asset + liablitiy = shareholders' equity
Since expenses are decrease in economic benefits with depletions of assets or increases of liabilities that result in decreases in equity, it should be have a debit balance
Also from recognition point of view, any expenditure that failed to meet the recognization criteria as a assetm, it should be recognised as a expense. Therefore it is logical that both of asset and expense a/c have debit balance 原帖由 小妖 於 2006-5-2302:02 PM 發表
