Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has accepted Wigan's £8.5m offer for Andy Johnson and warned Bolton and Everton they must raise their bids.
Bolton have offered £8m for the 25-year-old striker, while Everton are prepared to pay £7.25m.
"Wigan are in the box seat," said Jordan. "Everton and Bolton are very keen to have the player's services, but they need to get a move on.
"Wigan have offered money I consider reasonable and on the terms I want."

He added: "It is predominantly those three clubs who are interested in Andrew, although I believe there is also interest from Portsmouth."
Johnson is on standby for England's World Cup squad and left training with the national team on Monday to discuss his future with Jordan.
However, it is reported that the striker, who scored 21 goals for the Eagles in their Premiership season in 2004/05, would prefer a move to Everton.
Everton were interested in Johnson last summer, but he was persuaded to sign a new deal in a bid to ensure Palace made an instant return to the Premiership.
But Palace were consigned to another season in the Championship after their loss to Watford in the semi-final of the play-offs last season and clubs have quickly moved to try to lure Johnson.

Bolton and Everton also put bids in for Johnson, who joined Palace from Birmingham for £750,000 four years ago, but they must match Wigan's offer for the chance to discuss terms with the striker.
'Wigan have offered £8.5million, which is money I consider reasonable and which is on the terms I want,' said Palace chairman Simon Jordan.
'Wigan are in the box seat. Everton and Bolton are very keen to have the player's services, but they need to get a move on.
'It is predominantly those three clubs who are interested in Andrew, although I believe there is also interest from Portsmouth.'
Wigan were tipped for relegation last season and a year ago struggled to attract players to the JJB Stadium, although the situation this summer appears different following their 10th-placed finish in the Barclays Premiership under Paul Jewell.
Latics chairman Dave Whelan is now prepared to invest in the squad to build on their impressive debut season in the top flight.
Wigan chief executive Brenda Spencer added: 'Our supporters can rest assured Dave Whelan, Paul Jewell and I are working closely to improve the squad and we will continue to work around the clock until we feel the club is ready for next season.

Crystal Palace have accepted an £8.5million bid from Bolton for striker Andrew Johnson.
Wanderers are the second club to offer the amount demanded by Simon Jordan after the Palace chairman accepted a similar proposition from Wigan.
Johnson, who is on standby for England's World Cup squad, is due to travel to the north-west for talks with Wigan tomorrow after the 'B' international against Belarus at Reading tonight.
'Crystal Palace have accepted another bid for Andrew Johnson, after Bolton Wanderers offered £8.5million for the player on Thursday,' read a statement on Palace's official website, www.cpfc.co.uk.
'The offer from Sam Allardyce's side matches the one made on Wednesday by Wigan Athletic, and therefore the 25-year-old now has permission to speak to both Lancashire clubs.'
Jordan told PA Sport on Wednesday that Everton were also showing interest in the player but had not matched his valuation, while he also believes Portsmouth are interested.
Jordan persuaded Johnson to sign a new five-year deal with Palace last summer, but their failure to make an instant return to the Barclays Premiership meant the former Birmingham striker resolved to leave Selhurst Park.
Bolton's bid comes after Jordan had informed them that Wigan were 'in the box seat' to sign Johnson, and that Wanderers were running out of time if they wished to sign him.
