華朗:太睇高阿祖安奴
Juan Sebastian Veron has launched a stinging verbal attack on Inter teammate Adriano, claiming he’s “not all that good.”“If he played the way he talks, then Inter would already have won the Scudetto,” slammed the Argentine in a South American newspaper today.
“Adriano feels himself on a pedestal that does not belong to him, seeing as he’s neither Ronaldo nor Ronaldinho. I really hope he gets to play against Argentina in the World Cup.”
It was well known that the two players disliked each other, with reports of a fist-fight during the half-time break of their Champions League quarter-final defeat against Villarreal, but the verbal battle is stepping up ahead of the World Cup.
Adriano commented this week that he doesn’t “enjoy” playing for the Nerazzurri and suggested there was an Argentine “mafia” within the squad, pushing him out of the clique.
If L’Imperatore’s future remains in the balance, then Veron could also leave the San Siro in the summer.
“Inter are asking me to stay, but I really think I’ll stay in Argentina, as my wife and children want to come home and are putting pressure on me to do it as soon as possible. I’ll start discussing options next week. River Plate are special to me, but I haven’t received any signals from them.”

Juan Sebastian Veron looks like he has played his last game in Italian
football with Internazionale.
The South American has been pondering his future for some time after
initially stating that he wanted to return to Argentina this summer.
The Nerazzurri have tried to convince him to change his mind, but the
former Chelsea man looks set for an exit.
“Inter are asking me to stay, but I think that I will go back home,”
the man omitted from his country’s 2006 World Cup squad said.
“My wife and kids are eager to live in Argentina again as soon as
possible. I’ll now meet with the club and see what we can agree.”
There were reports that Veron was ready to live away from his family
for one year in order to see out his contract.
However, that now seems an implausible option for the player who is so
key to Roberto Mancini’s plans.
Inter are understood to have asked Veron to make his mind up as soon
as possible so that they can plan for next season.
The club are keen to know his decision so that they can resolve the
future of Chilean playmaker David Pizarro.
The latter is wanted by Roma and Palermo but the outfit are only ready
to release him should Veron decide to play on at the San Siro.
