Barcelona superkid Lionel Messi has dismissed claims from Real Madrid presidential candidates that he will be playing in a white shirt next season.

The Argentina international declared: "!It does not bother me what is said. I know that I will not leave Barcelona , because this is what I feel."

"It doesn't matter how much money they offer me or Barcelona, I will not leave."

Juan Miguel Villar Mir is reported to be willing to pay Messi's £100 million buyout clause to sign him for Real Madrid.

Asked about the claims last night, Messi's Dad, Jorge, said: "No-one's said anything to me. I haven't heard from anyone from Real Madrid."
