Cisse suffers suspected broken leg in friendly
fr:soccernet.com--Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse could be out of the World Cup after being carried off with a suspected broken leg in France's friendly against China tonight.Cisse fell awkwardly in a challenge early in the first half of the match in St Etienne.
The 24-year-old, whose future at Anfield is uncertain, missed the majority of the 2004/05 season with a similar injury.
Cisse had joined up with the France squad with doubt surrounding his Liverpool future.
The former Auxerre forward scored in last month's FA Cup final victory over West Ham but recently criticised manager Rafael Benitez and had looked likely to leave Anfield after the World Cup.
He was linked with moves to Marseille and Tottenham throughout the season but insisted during the last transfer window that he wanted to stay with Liverpool.
The suspected break is to his right tibia, the opposite leg to which he broke at Ewood Park in October 2004.
In that instance he was initially ruled out for the rest of the season but returned sooner than expected and featured in Liverpool's Champions League final win over AC Milan last year.
Former Arsenal and Manchester City striker Nicolas Anelka, now of Fenerbahce, and Barcelona's Ludovic Giuly are potential replacements for Cisse in the France squad.
France coach Raymond Domenech told television station TF1: 'It is bad but we cannot say very much right now.
'He has gone to the hospital for tests and we are extremely worried. We all saw what happened and it is hugely disappointing.'
When pressed on possible replacements in the squad, he added: 'We can't say right now. We will go and see Djibril first but there will be solutions.'
The news could also be bad for Marseille, who reportedly had officials in Liverpool today to discuss a potential move for the striker.:eek: 安歷卡有冇妄想?:icon101:

新華網法國聖埃蒂安6月7日電（記者汪湧樹文）7日在與法國隊的熱身賽中，中國隊10號鄭智造成法國隊前鋒西塞受傷並缺席本屆世界盃。鄭智賽後稱，自己並非故意，這是一次合理衝撞。
鄭智賽後在接受了新華社記者採訪時對西塞受傷表示遺憾。他回憶當時的情況說，自己是在防守中利用位置優勢和對手進行了合理的身體接觸，但沒想到西塞倒地後腿部受傷。鄭智表示，自己也是賽後才知道西塞傷情嚴重。
鄭智說，足球比賽就是這樣，每個職業球員都可能在比賽中受傷。
中國隊主教練朱廣滬賽後說，西塞不能參加馬上就要開始的德國
