just read 'White angels: Beckham, Real Madrid' (a crap book except the story of perez).. it give a hint why florentino perez got elected. his target was figo... but why members trusted him and voted him? becuase perez promised to pay all the ticket fees of all the members for one season from his own pocket if, once elected, he didn't successfully buy figo... given perez as the boss of the ACS construction company, the 3rd in the world (really..?).. perez became who he is nowadays from nothing 20 years ago when he purchased the ACS for 10 pesata (!!!)
i really admired his business skills (i must admit). he just put it to an xtremem.. i would say he brought more good than bad to the club as a conclusion..

Capello leaving Juve for Real

Fabio Capello is just days away from being confirmed as the new Real Madrid boss, chief Ramon Calderon has insisted.
Calderon did promise fans that he would bring the Juventus Coach to La Liga, for a second time, if he won the Presidential election and looks set to keep his word.
“I hope to officially unveil Capello in a couple of days,” stated Calderon. “He’s now in Turin to resolve his contractual situation with Juventus.
“He’ll be here on Tuesday at the earliest and Thursday at the latest to start work on forming a new team.”
Capello still has a year left to run on his Juventus contract and the Italian giants last week insisted they wanted him to remain.
However, whispers suggest that the Turin giants will not even receive any compensation from Real for their tactician.
It has been alleged that there is a special release clause in his deal which will allow him to walk away this summer.
Goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, another tipped to leave Juve before the start of next term, waved Don Fabio farewell.
“I don’t know whether it is the right move, but I wish him luck for the future,” he stated from the Italy camp last night.
Calderon has also promised to deliver Cesc Fabregas , Arjen Robben and Milan ace Kaka.
However, the Rossoneri insist their Brazilian playmaker is going nowhere. “The Kaka situation is very clear,” stated director general Ariedo Braida.
“I’m tired of repeating the same things: Kaka is a Milan player and he won’t be moving from here. We wouldn’t accept any offer for the player.” i dont want Robben...:o

Capello quits Juve – official Tuesday 4 July, 2006

Fabio Capello is no longer the Juventus Coach after he resigned on Tuesday, the club have confirmed.
“Juventus Football Club, having taken into account the decisions of Fabio Capello, have accepted his resignation and thank him for his work,” read a statement.
The tactician still had one year left on his Bianconeri contract, but has walked away with Real Madrid set to snap him up for the new campaign.
Capello, expected to be unveiled as Real boss on Thursday, flew into Juve's headquarters earlier today to rescind his contract.
The former Milan and Roma boss arrived at the club in a shock move during the summer of 2004.
He proved to be an instant hit after winning two League titles out of two by actually spending an incredible 76 weeks out of 76 at the top of the League.
Capello’s future has been cast in doubt ever since the Old Lady were embroiled in the Calciopoli scandal.
That saw the infamous Triade of Roberto Bettega, Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo – Capello’s great allies – all resign from the board.
