United striker David Healy etched his name into Northern Ireland folklore once again on Wednesday night.
Twelve months on from his match-winning strike against England, David became the first Northern Ireland player since George Best to score a hat-trick in Belfast when he bagged a treble to sink Spain.
Northern Ireland came from behind twice before the Leeds favourite scored a stunning third goal to guarantee a memorable 3-2 victory.
The shock victory followed hot on the heels of Saturday's defeat at the hands of Iceland - when Northern Ireland were booed from the pitch - and David was delighted to play his part in another triumphant night for Northern Irish football.
"We let people down on Saturday," said David.
"But we showed our character against Spain and that should be a lesson for everybody.
"We wanted to put a bit of pride back into the Northern Ireland jersey."
