Van Nistelrooy will not leave United on the cheapSir Alex Ferguson insists Manchester United will not accept anything less than the top price for Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Holland striker is looking to leave Old Trafford after handing in a written transfer request with both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid keen.
However, with United holding out for a fee of £15million, Van Nistelrooy has been forced to return for pre-season training although he played no part in the Red Devils' 3-0 win over Celtic at Parkhead.
Real Madrid are believed to have tested United's resolve with a second bid for the 30-year-old, which is thought to be a straight cash deal of around £10million.
Ferguson told MUTV: 'I read it on teletext and I spoke to (chief executive) David Gill and nothing has really materially changed.
'They've slightly increased it but nothing really you would say - for goodness sake, an increase of about two bob or something.
'We know our value. If we are going to sell Ruud van Nistelrooy we should get the proper value. He is one of the best strikers in the country, one of the best strikers in Europe so when you think about (Andriy) Shevchenko going for £35million - he's a similar age group.
'But we know our value of the player so at the moment he is a Manchester United player.'
Asked if Bayern and Madrid were a long way from that valuation, Ferguson responded: 'Absolutely.'

在 上 周 的 報 價 被 曼 聯 拒 絕 後 ， 皇 家 馬 德 里 已 為 雲 尼 斯 達 萊 提 出 新 的 報 價 。
「 球 會 已 經 提 出 新 的 報 價 ， 正 在 等 待 曼 聯 答 覆 ， 」 皇 馬 發 言 人 周 三 說 。
皇 馬 正 在 和 拜 仁 慕 尼 黑 爭 奪 現 年 30歲 的 雲 尼 斯 達 萊 ， 這 名 已 在 英 超 征 戰 五 年 的 射 手 已 表 示 希 望 離 開 曼 聯 。
西 班 牙 媒 體 稱 ， 皇 馬 的 報 價 是 1,500萬 歐 元 。
但 是 ， 在 被 問 及 雲 尼 斯 達 萊 的 情 況 時 ， 曼 聯 主 帥 費 格 遜 對 天 空 體 育 電 視 台 表 示 ： 「 他 沒 有 任 何 變 化 ， 目 前 他 還 是 曼 聯 的 球 員 ， 這 毫 無 疑 問 。 」

曼聯領隊費格遜表示，雲尼斯杜萊一定不會以低價錢離開球會。
雲尼斯杜萊已經書面通知球會希望轉會，不過曼聯希望至少有球會出價一千五百萬鎊才可以放人。
因此，他在週一已經返回球隊操練，不過在週三對些路迪的熱身賽中沒有上陣。
皇家馬德里早前出價一千萬被拒絕，但他們仍然相信可以收購該名射手。
「我有看過傳真，也有與大衛基爾談過，沒有得出甚麼結論。」費格遜說。
「他們有提升少許價錢。」
「我們有我們心目中的價錢，雲尼斯杜萊是一位最好的射手，舒夫真高在歐洲賽中的入球率與表現與他差不多，年紀亦差不多，但仍可以三千五百萬轉會到車路士。」
「因此我們知道我們球員的價錢大概是多少。」
被問到拜仁慕尼黑與皇家馬德里的出價是否遠離目標，費格遜回應︰「絕對是。」

Ferguson reiterates Ruud stance
Sir Alex Ferguson claims Manchester United will accept nothing less than top dollar for striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The Dutchman's Old Trafford career is on the verge of closure but Ferguson insists the club will not be cowed by suitors Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Real have twice seen offers rebuffed for the 30-year-old, with the second bid reported to have been worth up to £10 million.
Reports in the Spanish press have suggested an imminent third offer from Fabio Capello's team could be enough to broker a deal - provided it meets the Premiership side's valuation.
United are believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of £15 million, and, speaking after The Red Devils' 3-0 pre-season friendly victory over Celtic - a match in which van Nistelrooy played no part - Ferguson stated his case.

Meanwhile, press reports on Thursday claim Tottenham are also in the hunt for the wantaway van Nistelrooy.
Spurs boss Martin Jol is reputedly ready to use confirmed United target Michael Carrick as bait to lure the former PSV Eindhoven star to White Hart Lane.
