Birmingham agree terms with Jaidi

Jaidi was the first Tunisian to join a Premiership club
Birmingham have agreed a deal to sign defender Radhi Jaidi from Bolton subject to a work permit being granted.
The 30-year-old Tunisian centre-back will join the Championship club on a three-year deal if the club's application is successful.

The fee could reach £2m will potential add-ons if Birmingham gain promotion.

Jaidi, who links up with former Bolton colleague Bruno N'Gotty, appeared in the World Cup for Tunisia and scored in the 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia.

Jaidi was a regular for Bolton last season after joining the club from Tunisian side Esperance in 2004.

He scored eight goals in his 51 appearances for the Reebok Stadium outfit.
