APPIANO GENTILE - The Nerazzurri trained at Angelo Moratti Sports Centre this afternoon before leaving for Florence ahead of Saturday evening's Serie A opener against Fiorentina. Fabio Grosso, who was on leave due to the birth of his baby son Filippo, was back training today.
Roberto Mancini's players started with a warm-up, continued with some tactical work and concluded with a practice game and rapidity exercises.

Alvaro Recoba did an individual session of strengthening in the gym and aerobic exercises. Julio Cesar did not train as he has sustained a back injury. The Brazilian goalkeeper has therefore not been included in Mancini's squad for the Florence trip.
