South China wants all three points against VB

Coach Kim believes they can grab three points against VB
Male’, MALDIVES – Last year’s AFC Cup semi finalists, South China, are hopeful of grabbing three points in their next match against VB Sports on Wednesday. Speaking exclusively to maldivesoccer.com, coach Kim Pan Gon said that there squad is strong enough to grab the three points in the match.
“We are fit and strong enough to beat VB and we are hopeful of taking away the three points” Kim said.
Kim also noted that their injured captain and prolific striker, Chan Siu-ki and Brazilian striker, Tales Schutz are hopeful for the match.
“They have been recovering well and we are hopeful that they can play in the match. But we would assess the condition and depending on the players at our disposal, we would decide it”
Kim highlighted that the VB squad has had numerous changes compared to last season.
“VB squad is also strong as they have brought in a lot of players. They would also have their home supporters. So it would be a tough game.”
“I have seen video of VB playing and have limited information about the team.”
The other match of this group between Muang Thong United of Thailand and Persiwa Wamena of Indonesia has been postponed due to unrest in Thailand. According to the-afc.com, the match was postponed due to security concerns.
