The Philadelphia 76ers have traded forward Alan Henderson to the Utah Jazz for the rights to swap 2007 second-round draft picks, ESPN The Magazine Ric Bucher reported Thursday.
Henderson, a first-round draft pick by the Atlanta Hawks in 1995, is averaging 3.5 points and 3.1 rebounds through 34 games.
In 12 NBA seasons, Henderson is averaging 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds.

The move, however, is not expected to impact the Jazz's current 14-man roster. That is because Utah is expected to waive Henderson, who has played 34 games and averaged 3.5 points in a mostly reserve role for the Sixers this season.
The trade is designed such that the Jazz will wind up with a better second-round selection in next June's NBA Draft. Based on current records, Philadelphia's will be the higher of the two.
