Roma have told Barcelona and PSG that defender Marquinhos is not for sale. It has been reported in Corriere Dello Sport that Barca have had a €20m bid rejected and the Rome club are now waiting for a follow-up bid.

Marca are reporting that Barcelona have yet to receive any firm offers for Spain international striker David Villa. Apparently no-one out of Tottenham, Fiorentina, Arsenal, Liverpool or Atletico Madrid want to pay the minimum £10m that Barca require to pay off his £40m transfer from Valencia three years ago.

Sky Sports Italia are reporting Barcelona have lodged a €32m bid for Roma's highly sought after defender Marquinhos.

It seemed yesterday that Real Mallorca's Giovani dos Santos was set for a move to Villareal but the transfer has been delayed because the Mexican would prefer a move to Valencia according to Marca. Valencia are yet to make a bid but are monitoring the situation.
