Jeffers joins Blackburn on free transfer from Charlton
Blackburn have completed the signing of Francis Jeffers from Charlton on a free transfer.
The 25-year-old striker has signed a two-year contract, and Rovers have the option of a third year.
Jeffers, capped by England once before suffering injury problems, was loaned to Rangers last season but failed to score.
'It has been a busy couple of days. But what a fantastic move for me - I can't wait,' Jeffers said on his new club's official website.

The Blues have been linked with the Real Madrid midfielder in recent weeks, and they are about to test the water by offering the Spaniards £2million for the Danish international.
Gravesen has been rather hit and miss since moving to the Spanish capital in the New Year of 2005 from Everton, where he was a huge Premiership success.
He may be keen to return to England with City, with manager Stuart Pearce hoping to team him up in an all new engine room including recent addition Ousmane Dabo.

CITY are out of the blocks in the race to secure the signature of German international Dietmar Hamann.
The Blues were staying tight-lipped today about the Champions League winner, but Hamann is believed to be keen to talk to City over a two-year deal.
His arrival would considerably beef up Stuart Pearce's central midfield. But any agreement has been held up by complicated paperwork as City's neighbours Bolton believe they had first call on the 32-year-old midfielder whose capture could pave the way for contract rebel Joey Barton to leave the Blues.

New Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is expected to make a £3m bid for the controversial Barton, who is in the final year of his contract. Again, there is no official word from Sportcity on that possibility and Barton is believed to be on holiday in Dubai.
Pearce would have liked the 23-year-old Academy product to stay and sign an improved four-year deal that would have earned him up to £29,000-per-week, but there have been no indications of that happening so far this summer.
The manager's move for Hamann and the capture of Frenchman Ousmane Dabo would give the engine room a hard-nosed, experienced look and almost certainly put an end to the Blues' interest in former United midfielder Quinton Fortune, who ironically may now interest Bolton.
Pedigree
If Hamann arrives at City it will be with a great pedigree, having played a major part in Liverpool's Champions League win over AC Milan. He is currently working for German television at the World Cup and flew back there after his medical yesterday.
Didi, as he is known, was signed by then Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier from Newcastle United for £8m in 1999.
After starting his career at the little known Wacker Munich, where his father was coach, Hamann joined their more illustrious city rivals Bayern as a 16-year old in 1989. He made his first-team debut two years later and in nine years with the Bavarian giants won two Bundesliga titles, the German Cup and UEFA Cup.
After playing for his country in the 1998 World Cup he joined Newcastle, managed at the time by Kenny Dalglish, for £5.5m.
Hamann since became the first Liverpool player since Roger Hunt in 1966 to play in a World Cup Final, but finished on the losing side as Brazil won the 2002 World Cup 2-0.
Despite the defeat he was widely regarded as one of Germany's best players during the tournament.
He wrote himself into the record books when he became the last man to score at Wembley Stadium, his long range free-kick helping Germany to a 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over England in October 2000.
He tops the Premiership's all-time list for completed passes and City will be glad his has swapped sides for nearly one-quarter of his Premier ship goals have come against the Blues.
