Ballack happy with talks
Bayern Munich star Michael Ballack has played down talk linking him with a move away from the German champions.
Manchester United have been strongly linked with the German international, with reports suggesting the English outfit have lined up a deal to sign Ballack next summer.
Ballack's future at Bayern has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks, with the free-scoring midfielder having just over a year to run on his contract.
Bayern are keen to keep Ballack and have opened talks with the player over a new deal.
Ballack insists early discussions have gone well and that he has not spoke to any other club.
"I spoke with Bayern Munich and it was a good discussion. That is where things stand," insisted Ballack.
"I haven't spoken with anyone else, nor do I want to.
"No-one has spoken about a deadline. On the contrary, I have been told to take my time thinking things over and that the club would be happy if I decided to extend my contract."
