Wayne Bridge will start the game as one of the front three.
Andriy Shevchenko is ruled out with a tight hamstring so Salomon Kalou will spearhead the attack with Bridge on the left and Shaun Wright-Phillips on the right.
Claude Makelele and Michael Ballack return to the midfield with Frank Lampard who is on the bench. Makelele captains the side.
As previously announced by Jose Mourinho, Paulo Ferreira will be partnered by Michael Essien in central defence.
There is again a young look to the bench.
For Wycombe, former Luton man Stefan Oakes comes into midfield for ineligible Anthony Grant.
Chelsea are expected to line-up in the following 4-3-3 formation.
