Mentality
Mentality doesn’t change the position of your player when your team doesn’t have possession, only when your team has the ball. The higher the mentality slider, the higher chance there is of your player making a forward run, or an attacking pass.
Here is my theory:
0 = the player will only make a forward run/ attacking ball when there is a 100% chance that your team will score.
1 = ≥ 95%
2 = ≥ 90%
3 = ≥ 85%
4 = ≥ 80%
5 = ≥ 75%
6 = ≥ 70 %
7 = ≥ 65%
8 = ≥ 60%
9 = ≥ 55%
10 = ≥ 50%
11 = ≥ 45%
12 = ≥ 40%
13 = ≥ 35%
14 = ≥ 30%
15 = ≥ 25%
16 = ≥ 20 %
17 = ≥ 15%
18 = ≥ 10%
19 =≥ 5%
20 = ≥ 0% (arguably has to be 1 but…)
Obviously, other things can affect your teams attacking balls and forward runs. They are:
Forward Runs
Rarely = the player will only make a forward run where there is a ≥ 99.9% success rate.
Mixed = the player will only make a forward run where there is a ≥ 66.6% success rate.
Often = the player will only make a forward run where there is a ≥ 33.3% success rate.
Try Through Balls
Rarely = the player will only attempt a through ball where there is a ≥ 99.9% success rate.
Mixed = the player will only attempt a through ball where there is a ≥ 66.6% success rate.
Often = the player will only attempt a through ball where there is a ≥ 33.3% success rate. |
