It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 100000 that came out to Json Arena. Json tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Samaniego - Dingler, Dzieduch, Hess, Ratiu - 宇鵬 (Yupeng) , Sörensson, Menu, Glazer, Krivokuća - Ilie.
Liverpool tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players took the field: Sung Wook - Kean Yew, Kien Cuong, Qi Chen - Zi-Jun, Kwan, Chung-Chieh, Hoi-Fung, Tu Huan - Dae-hyun, Kwok Chu.
Json were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Liverpool mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. The sun seemed to put 霍 (Huo) 宇鵬 (Yupeng) in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. After 6 minutes, Liverpool's Wang Kwok Chu made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. After 31 minutes of play, Mihaitã Ilie equalised for Json after an elegant attack from the right. Halftime score was 1 - 1. Liverpool claimed to be the more dominant force in the game, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.
Mihaitã Ilie wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat. The visiting Wang Kwok Chu was booed thoroughly by the home crowd in the 50:th minute, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 1 - 2 was the score. Liverpool's Zhang Qi Chen was shown a yellow card after 59 minutes for slicing down an opponent. In the 66:th minute, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as Yang Dae-hyun finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. In the 76:th minute, Wu Chung-Chieh came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. This half belonged to Liverpool, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.
Json's top performer was clearly Federico Samaniego. Bojan Krivokuća turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Liverpool player was Yang Kean Yew. Yu Zi-Jun turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
